Which came first, the chicken or the egg?

It has been the question that confounds every brain cells of man for centuries. A simple question but seems hard to answer. If the chicken came first, then didn't it hatch from an egg? If the egg came first, wasn't it laid by a chicken? An unanswerable question indeed - a paradoxical interrogation. But that was before! Now, the age-old chicken-or-egg question is finally answered.

Scientists concludes that there will be no egg formation without the protein ovocledidin-17 (OC-17). This essential ingredient helps in egg shell formation. Without this builder protein, the eggs would not exist. And yet it can only be produced inside the chicken. Therefore, if the builder protein can only be produced inside the chicken, this means that the chicken came first.

In addition, scientists discover that aside from giving a scientific proof behind the old-aged chicken-or-egg question, the study also bequeaths ideas for material designs and processes that would lead to the invention of new materials and nature-inspired technology enhancement.

Are you satisfied with the info or you are still convinced that the egg came first before the chicken?
